what to do when stressed...

What an ominous day to blog. Friday the 13th. The second day in 2 months. The feeling of stress is palpable in the honours class. People are venting on the whiteboards, becoming more solemn, haggard, tired. I initially thought I would be able to complete another chapter by today, but realised that it was near impossible, until I had to tell my supervisor I couldn't. And what do I do when I'm faced with stress? Retail therapy!!! Headed off, with my grumbling dad on tow, to the IT Show at Suntec City today, where there were loads and loads of bargains, cut-throat promoters and paper wastage. After deliberating for quite some time, I managed to come back home with some purchases, which will leave my pockets empty for quite some time. I also went to collect a new pair of spectacles as well, so consumerism reigned today. And I received the call from MOE informing me of my impending interview. I'm now scared to my wits, as this will be my very first job interview, and luckily I went for the interview workshop yesterday, or else I wouldn't really know what to expect. I'm on recall manning this week, so there's the likelihood of me being called back over the weekend, so it's good for me as I really need to spend some quality time typing out my chapter, and on top of re-writing another chapter and editing the rest. But I shall try not to be stressed in the meantime.
